Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SYNCRA handles personal data collected through this website. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this site is Piotr Tokarz, acting for SYNCRA (in formation), Zürich, Switzerland. Contact: hello@syncra.ch.
2. What data we collect
When you book a meeting through the booking page, we collect the data you enter:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number and address, if you provide them
- Any notes you choose to add about your trials or your team
If you write to hello@syncra.ch, we process your email address and the message you send in order to reply. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies and the site does not store anything in your browser. We do measure aggregate site usage – see section 7.
3. How booking data is processed
If you book a meeting, the booking page is operated through Microsoft Bookings (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd / Microsoft Corporation) as part of our Microsoft 365 account. The booking page is embedded on this site, so loading it connects your browser to Microsoft, which may process your IP address and technical data under its own privacy statement. It processes the name, email address and optional phone number, address and notes you enter, together with the time you choose, to schedule the meeting and send confirmations. This may involve transfer to servers outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
4. Purpose and legal basis
We use this data solely to contact you about a pilot or a conversation with SYNCRA. For visitors in the EU/EEA, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you book a meeting or write to us. For Switzerland, processing is based on your request and our legitimate interest in responding to it.
5. Retention
We keep your details until you ask us to remove them or until we no longer need them to follow up on your request, whichever comes first.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, email hello@syncra.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU/EEA, your local supervisory authority.
7. Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.) to understand how the site is used – for example which pages are viewed and which sites refer visitors to us. It is a privacy-first, cookieless service: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint you or track you across other websites. It records the page address, the referring site, general device and browser type, and an approximate country, all in aggregate; it does not build a profile of you and we cannot identify individual visitors from it. Your IP address is processed briefly to derive the country and is not stored by us. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. The current version is always available at this address.
