Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SYNCRA handles personal data collected through this website. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this site is Piotr Tokarz, acting for SYNCRA (in formation), Zürich, Switzerland. Contact: hello@syncra.ch.
2. What data we collect
When you submit the waitlist form, we collect the data you enter:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Any message you choose to add about your trial
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The site stores a single entry in your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference; this never leaves your device. We do measure aggregate site usage – see section 7.
3. How the form data is processed
The waitlist form is operated through Google Forms (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd). When you submit it, the data you entered is transmitted to and stored by Google on our behalf. This may involve transfer to servers outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA. See Google's privacy policy.
4. Purpose and legal basis
We use this data solely to contact you about early access to SYNCRA and to manage the waitlist. For visitors in the EU/EEA, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form. For Switzerland, processing is based on your request and our legitimate interest in responding to it.
5. Retention
We keep your details until you ask us to remove them or until the waitlist is no longer needed, whichever comes first.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, email hello@syncra.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU/EEA, your local supervisory authority.
7. Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.) to understand how the site is used – for example which pages are viewed and which sites refer visitors to us. It is a privacy-first, cookieless service: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not fingerprint you or track you across other websites. It records the page address, the referring site, general device and browser type, and an approximate country, all in aggregate; it does not build a profile of you and we cannot identify individual visitors from it. Your IP address is processed briefly to derive the country and is not stored by us. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. The current version is always available at this address.
